Employee Engagement in Denver, Colorado, Celebrate All Wins!
Employee Engagement in Denver, Colorado. Often I ask teams what the ratio is between looking at what IS working vs. what is NOT working. Sadly, many teams and leaders focus mainly on what is not working. My tip of the month is to:
Celebrate All Wins!
Celebrating all wins doesn’t have to be a big deal, and it doesn’t have to take a lot of time or company resources.
I recently got back from Washington D.C, where I was facilitating a program for a client I worked with 6 years ago. They had a mostly new leadership team, and they had forgotten some of the roots of what worked.
We spent 3 days together, doing strategic planning and getting back in touch with the mission and the vision of the organization. One of the takeaways was remembering to Celebrate All Wins.
A win can be any accomplishment your team completes or an individual team member’s accomplishment. By focusing on what IS working, you boost morale and remind people of the positive results they are working towards. People need to be inspired by the work that they do – remind them that they make a difference!
A high-five or a team “whoop” is sometimes all that is needed. Take a few minutes to brainstorm “celebrations” with your team. They are worth it!
At Transformative Training, we help you create the workplace culture you want based on solid values, vision and goals. We can support you with increasing employee engagement in Denver, Colorado. Let us know if we can support you!
